I posted this in the Open Discussion section. However, I thought I would also post here (just in case some of you don't see it there & are interested.

Friends,
Being military retired , I seem to have plenty of free time (other than school & the beach, I have plenty of time). I sent a few of you Facebook friends invitation through the FB TRF site (thanks to Dave & Jen). I know Oscar (Bodypump) did this a few months back. Anyway, I'm asking to network w/ you regarding common interests other than Rolexs. I'd like to network not only for common interest, but also professional interests as well. We have a vast number of folks here w/ numerous specialties & backgrounds, I would simply like to tap into each person's knowledge bank & share what little I know as well (let's help each other).

I'm just a simple guy w/ moderate means & resources, but I do know a thing or three (I think).

One might be an expert in something (such as computers/finance/ cars/ motorcycles/ photography, etc). Some may even know people who can help out another professionally, who knows! Regardless of where one resides or professional background, everyone has something to offer or contribute to another person's well being & interest.

It took me a while to do this because I am not a very trusting person. However, given the motley group that we have here. I think you all are a great bunch & I would like to get to know you all better.

For those living in SoCal, it would be nice to get together w/you all & get to know you better.

For those not interested, please just ignore this post.

I like this idea Jet!!! By the way i added you already on my FB...its seems like there is more things out there besides sharing the same passion of collecting watches...Sometimes i try to reach out to a couple of fellow members here in TRF for help...whether its watch related or job related or just anything i can think of under the sun...people here are so friendly...i have more friends here in the forum that i know i can trust than here in florida...Fellow kababayans..mostly in LA..really cool guys

..I know there are more kababayan in Cali than any other state in the US...guys i think you should do a GTG in LA...i know Filipino's no how to party...and ive seen it...Jet you can start a thread on the GTG...doesnt matter if you own a Rolex or not...as long as you guys meet each other....i know there are a lot things out there that you guys can share besides watches...Im with you jet with this one..

I just wanted to get all the great minds together & have one big resource pool for all our members to be able to tap into. One does not necessarily have to make friends with anyone, but I urge that you at least join the TRF group page.
