Just read the thread. Amazing results! Can the red service dials be sourced through a Rolex ad? I have sort of the same issue, mine has been relumed, and the colour on the lume plots just ain’t right. Thanks for posting!

In the beginning of the thread the OP stated RSC had to send the original dial to Geneva to authenticate it before releasing a new service replacement.

What on awesome story, your perseverance really paid off! A luminova dial without WGS and red submariner text is just nuts.

The watch looks great - this is a cool post. I’m very happy for you!

I think it’s pretty cool they used a red dial, weren’t some swapped with white dials at some point?

I checked the "Post Your Rolex Red Sub Dial Pic and Serial#: Reference List" thread and none of the watches are like yours. Are the dials really that rare?

We all have different goals for our Watches... He wanted a rolex restored red sub and that’s what he got.

They are not very common. You have to send in your original red dial to get the service red dial.

How is your project coming along?

The watch looks amazing with a good dial, it’s nice to know that the wait was Worth it, and the amount spent won’t be a problem at this point since you got what you wanted....wear well.
