I've sure learned a lot about after market high quality items. I have a band coming for my 116520. Can't wait. I decided to go with the clasp and try to be fumbling around changing out clasps. Now if you know where to get a clasp I'd sure be interested in hearing.

Which clasps are you looking for specifically?

Clasp right... Looking for clasp for Daytona. Then use that on another Rubber B.

How difficult was it to install Rolex clasp from your Explorer II. I have a polar and want to get the black rubber B but unsure of how to install clasp. Any recommendations on a good tool set?

Are you trying to utilIze the easy link or just integrate the clasp in general? I ended up removing the easy link piece inside the clasp so that I could still wear it on the RubberB.

If you are trying to keep the easy link functionality, you’ll need to get an X-acto knife and carefully cut the one end into a small T shape. Make sure you aren’t cutting it too thin or the rubber will break at the clasp.

I’d recommend just removing the easy link and use the RubberB strap directly inside the clasp with the spring bar.

Thanks for the reply. I’m good with whatever is easiest. The thing I’m confused about is my watch has 5 oyster links on each side. How do you size it using the deployant clasp? Do you need to cut the the longer end (6 O’clock side?). I’m guessing you just lay the strap next to the bracelet and cut to match? Sorry, I’m a little confused between using the easy link and not using it. Bit of a newbie to this. :)

Also having extreme difficulty getting the spring bars to connect into the pin holes. Is there an after market spring bar that works better with the Rubber B strap?

As others said - as good as they get. Never as comfortable as the original bracelet

Guy who told me you just have to work it was right.

Push down on rubber to reduce friction and move it slowly.

Also depend on which GMT model you have? Rubber B green stripe go well for Black or TT like the picture they have on their website? Blue stripe fit Batman better etc...

I just got a Rubber B for my gmt tt (2008) and so far so good. I agree with others that the original bracelet feels superior but it’s an everyday watch and I may be more active than I should be so I wanted to save the bracelet for my later years. The fit around the case is great and I will say that the matte black band really makes the face stand out. I bought this gmt two tone because of the face and the band hasn’t clashed at all. It’s only been less than a week with the rubber b so I’ll have to give it some time but so far so good.

Can someone with the rubber b using the original clasp that uses 4 links at 6 and 6 at 12 (on oyster bracelet) show me a pic of what it looks like? The oyster bracelet in that configuration is basically symmetrical and wondering if rubber b can achieve a similar fit (sounds like it can't since the strap at 6 is ~ 5 links).

Not sure if understand what you want to see. I use 5 links at 6 and 6 at 12 (about 7 1/4 inch wrist, pretty round) and got a good fit with the Rubber B and an aftermarket glidelock style clasp:

Please note had to cut a “T” shape on the rubber at 12 since the glidelock uses T connections at both sidea of the clasp.

Like the 9th picture here (within the small pictures, not starting with the big main picture), but with the dial facing up.

https://rubberb.com/en/rolex-watch-b...ected-color=16

On another note...is your glidelock close to fully expanded (at widest setting)?

Pictures didn't went well above when first uploaded them, now corrected. The position in the glidelock clasp is about midway as shown.
