You can absolutely jump in a pool or a lake with a 321 or any Speedy within its service window

A Daytona doesn’t cause you to drool all over it

Speedmaster is a plastic swatch... Daytona is arguably the most desirable watch in the world. I know what Im choosing.

I own both a Daytona and a few Speedys. If you told me I could only keep one, I'd take the Speedy. |

If you flipped the watch around the 321.
For any regular user, the Daytona x1000. But it won't allow you to be a "stealth" collector that prides himself on overpaying 2x for arguably 99.9% of the same regular speedy that can be had for $5k. But hey, you do you |

Imagine being so triggered over someone saying the speedmaster is a plastic swatch, which is true. Cry more

I owned 3 Speedmasters, including a 1963 Ed White straight lug 321, and the modern Daytona just beats the piss out of those Omegas. In the end, Omega competes with Tudor and Seiko. Not sure whey they drag Rolex in the conversation. (Well, we do know why...) It lacks the prestige of Rolex, not a status symbol, ugly bracelets, too many special editions watering down the brand, allowed a plastic Swatch knockoff, Speedmaster is a watch for a kid who just graduated. A train wreck |

Coming into a thread and belittling people for enjoying an incredible historical watch, even if it’s not your preference, is just pathetic. You can prefer the Daytona over the 321, that’s your choice, but the jabs you keep throwing at other members for their choice is just low class. It’s a shame vermin like you are becoming more prevalent nowadays on this great forum. Luckily the community is still predominantly made up of civilized individuals who love watches and respect everyone’s individual tastes. |

321 is special if you’re an omega collector. To me, it’s just another speedmaster. Love the Speedmaster, wouldn’t pay more for a 321. I prefer the Daytona.

Whichever one puts a smile on your face. Daytona is going to be a tough model to go toe to toe with for any model though imo

[QUOTE=rolesor2022;13328102]Yes, the speedmaster is a plastic swatch. Zero respect in the watch community. Zero credibility for its owners.
I owned 3 Speedmasters, including a 1963 Ed White straight lug 321, and the modern Daytona just beats the piss out of those Omegas. In the end, Omega competes with Tudor and Seiko. Not sure whey they drag Rolex in the conversation. (Well, we do know why...) It lacks the prestige of Rolex, not a status |

“ Beats the piss” and “ lacks the prestige” ? Depends on your criteria and who you speak to, doesn’t it?
