Am fine, the tires of my car did not even get wet. But the places I have been going to, I have never seen this much damage. The water went past the second floor in many places, which means that people pretty much lost what they could not carry.

It is hardest on the middle class I think. The very rich can replace everything they lost. The poorest of the poor, the relief operation cater to them. The ones in the middle, are pretty much on their own.

Lets say you are an average employee earning a decent but not great salary, no one is going to help you buy a new refrigerator.

Thats really bad ral....i know what your talking about knowing insurance for this kind of things doesnt really exist for people back home...everything will be gone for them...

Actually, insurance does, its a small premium, which a lot of people decide no to avail off. I paid 5% more for my car insurance to get coverage for this kind of thing. I mean, what is 5% more?
