Are you referring to the "fabric" Everest strap, or the rubber? If fabric, how long ago did you order it? I think it would be a cool addition to my (eventual) DT.

One month. I have a very good relationship with the boutique.
It also helps that I really wanted a silver dial I suppose… they told me black and blue would be very difficult to get this quick.

I currently have a black dial 7900v which I absolutely adore. I only have a small collection, with the other two watches being the 116900 air king (I bought when my son was born to give to him eventually, so that's never being sold), and a 126600 SD as my daily.

I'd like to get something else without a black dial, so I was thinking about trading my dual time for a silver variant and hopefully pocketing a bit of cash my way too. Does that seem unrealistic? The prices are so hard to gauge in this market. I'd be happy for either the 7900v or 4500v.

I can tell you I was able to see all three dials next to each other, and TO ME the silver dial was the most unique ,melding with the bracelet in a very unique and elegant way.

Personal taste of course!

Official vacheron overseas thread!!

Just got my first VC. Been really considered in my search for a holy trinity piece that can do double duty as dress watch and useful daily (ish) watch. Thrilled with this.

I have a feeling the waits will be longer given the whole Cory Richards release last year. That was 300 Overseas in one shot, and I have to imagine that took / is taking production capacity away from the other Overseas.
I have also had my deposit down since May of last year. I don’t think they took deposits much after that, but could be wrong. Hope we see it soon

It is really in their best interest to deliver these sooner than later, as I believe the price is locked in for most. Between last June's price increase, inflation, and from what it sounds like, more price increases...

I picked up mine about a year ago, I think you will be happy with it.

The dial is so beautiful, and it is so easy to wear. I used to wear it with the rubber strap but the past few months it has been on the bracelet. Both are amazingly comfortable.

Enjoy, and post some pics!

Just got my 4500v, so I’m not complaining. There’s something about the 7900v, though.

Black 4500V

I love the VC blue dial and recently acquired a 7900 in blue after owning a 4500 in black since Jan 2021.

Here's a shot my daughter took recently highlighting the 4500V with black dial. Happy Tuesday!

I’ve recently been bitten hard by the VC bug, particularly the 4500 and the 7900. I’m a little unusual in that I prefer the silver dial with both but I have zero history with VC, am I out of luck in getting one from a boutique? I would prefer the 4500 over the 7900 but beggars can’t be choosers…

The Miami boutique is closest to me, will give them a call regardless but interested in advice from the VC vets in this thread. Am I destined to go secondhand/grey?

You'll have a less of a wait for a silver dial, but I wouldn't necessarily expect one for 2022 as allocations are already full for the year for many/if not all the VCO models.

Silvers are still somewhat of a reasonable premium over MSRP, so really your call on whether waiting or going grey is the right path for you. Either way its a beautiful piece, especially the 7900v silver.

FYI - Just spoke to their E-Boutique, they quoted me an 18-24 month wait for silver 7900 and 2 years for a silver 4500.

So possible if you’re willing to wait and they don’t discontinue. Very pleasant process actually compared to the Rolex nonsense.

FWIW - I asked about the blue 4500 out of curiosity and she told me 5 years.
