I have a Superocean Heritage 44mm Chrono with the black dial and green bezel. It's a lovely thing which I got for 30% off from a dealer who was turning over their display stock. Right place, right time. All the stickers were still on.

It came on a rubber deployment strap with an adjustable clasp, similar in operation to the Glidelock. I also have a mesh bracelet with the conventional deployment clasp which I alternate. I don't keep it frequent rotation but I do wear it out from time to time to let it see some daylight. I always enjoy wearing it.

When I have a better idea of how long my Sky Dweller will take to turn up (should get an estimate next month), I'm probably going to get the best price I can on a Navitimer GMT 48, unless the Sky Dweller is expected soon (highly unlikely). It will be so different to anything else I will ever own, and with date, chrono and GMT on one dial (plus the slide rule which I will use for currency conversion and the like) it should make a good travelling companion.

Love the Breitling brand, my first real watch was a 42 Abyss, I sold and later regretted so I bought a A17360 reference, but it didn't quite scratch the itch so today I am picking up a SO II in Black Face. My wife also prefers my Breitling over my Rolex. Sometimes I like a little bling in my life!

I bought a Navitimer over a decade ago. I love the watch. I have a very, very wealthy friend who has 12 Breitlings. He said that Breitlings are great for everything but telling the time. He got tired of the service cycles but is still a firm fan. If you do buy a Breitling new at an AD, expect it’s value to plummet as soon as you leave the store. If you love it and want to wear it, grab one. Mine has seen some action and works like a charm.

I was similar, before I joined TRF I had three Breits, then bought only Rolex, AP and PP but last year I bought a Seawolf again as I just love the cobra yellow dial, I had the paler custard one before, and there's nothing like it, esp when I put it on a black with yellow sides rubber strap. Almost as much fun as my LVc.

My first nice watch was a Breitling Airwolf. I ended up with a handful of Breitlings. At the time I was a Rolex hater! Now I’m almost completely Rolex PM! I still have the Airwolf though.

The thread title is misleading.

I own several watches. Some are Breitling. Some are Rolex. Some are Omega. I wear and enjoy all of them but I do not consider myself a Rolex owner who slums with other brands occasionally.

Just added this Cosmonaute. I have had my eye on this reference for awhile but have had no luck until now finding the right one. Love the history with space exploration, Lemania based B12 manual winding movement, thinner case relative to a lot of other Navitimers, no date, the 24 hour dial and tritium lume which should patina beautifully. Pretty excited about this one.
