It's a flip of the coin IMO. However, the SS is much more dressier than the white dial C.

Daytona vs Daytona Ceramic side by side

Both are nice, I'm happy with mine

While waiting on more than one AD list for a new white Daytona C I purchased a 16520 white dial. What a beauty. I still would like a new Daytona. Would you suggest another white dial or get a black dial which should be easier to find.

The bottom one looks sweet. There best Daytona I have ever seen is the 116519-GRY below. Years ago my boss had one and since, unless I search online for it I don't see it anywhere!...

I probably like the Daytona C more, but not $7,000 more.

Got a call from the AD. A really great guy. He was out of our state on vacation. Back at the showroom was black ceramic Daytona was waiting for me to pick up. I was on the list for a white dial but told him I would consider the black. What a nice watch. It just sparkled. I passed on it. Had to go with my heart and wait for the white. Good luck.

I get the allure of ceramic bezel inserts and when a black ceramic replaces a black metal one I'm all for it (ala Submariner). But with the Daytona they totally changed the look. I like the old look better but own neither.

the daytona is the better looking one when new. but the bezel is much prone to scratches.

i prefer how the numbers are the correct way up on the SS bezel , down at the bottom

Looks a bit wrong on the Ceramic one, in my opinion anyway
