That’s luxury , i haven’t seen if we can do this with AP and PP.

There’s no option online, but AP will make for you pretty much anything that you can imagine.

Picked up today. From the boutique.

This watch suits me. Hopefully it will get me back into wearing a daily watch.

Ask your boutique to order in a VMXF083230 - which is the everest grey rubber strap.

Got my vagenari orange straps today.

The bad: The metal sliding attachment piece to the watch feels low quality vs oem. Can feel the metal pieces grinding as I slide it. OEM strap feels completely smooth when sliding.

The awesome: strap is a lot softer. It doesn’t have the metal piece embedded in the strap on the thicker end. That metal piece makes the strap flare out when worn. For my not so flat wrist, it makes the 2 ends of the strap stick out and pressure rest totally on top and bottom of my wrist. That makes it uncomfortable to wear for longer period of time. This strap solves this problem and now it fits perfectly as seen in photo.

Overall, I guess the pro outweighs the cons and I like it.

I just checked with the boutique and the leather strap with custom color now cost $650. I am going to look into aftermarket option.

Custom color… means not one of the 20 colors they offer?

How would you even choose a custom color? By Pantone?

If I had to guess they mean when you choose your own stitch color. Worst case, they mean anything other than OEM color alligator (brown, black, navy).

That camel color with blue stitch looks awesome against the blue 4500V. That's what my Delugs looks like on the inside so I can flip it over and hold it up to visualize it. Makes the blue really pop.

Nice one, I see they now offer 8 colourways including green, yellow & red.

Did your strap include the hardware so you only need to transfer the deployant clasp?

I don't blame the rep, I'm sure this is what they are instructed to say, but the lack of transparency on VC's part is pretty frustrating.
Did either of you end up receiving your order? I'm in the same boat with a deposit placed last summer but haven't heard anything since.

I don’t live near a boutique and so inquired about a ss dual time and I received a pretty quick response stating they don’t anticipate receiving any of those for “several years”. I guess you need a well-established relationship and live or work near a boutique to get on a realistic. Disappointing but that’s the way it is now.

The dual times, along with other models, have dropped significantly on the grey market. I’ve seen the blue dial around 33-35k

Cal anyone comment on the quick strap release system versus that of AP's? I tried to swap the bracelet to a strap on the AP, and found it a bit more cumbersome than the VC system.

Am I wrong?

You’re right. It’s not as smooth, but still works pretty good.

Thanks EE …makes sense. I hope it’s not the latter

There is no list of available rubber though?

Agree that they have dropped significantly but where did you see the blue dial time at 35k? In Japanese listing?

Which Overseas are you getting? And blue from boutique or other color? I got an email from my AD that they have one for me (not blue as not the boutique) and trying to decide if I’ll take it. Wait time was 3 months (also NYC).

That's an amazing turn around.

I went with a silver 4500v so I was surprised I had to wait this long.... I was originally quoted 6-9 months w/ a +/- 35% deposit at the boutique.

I still like wearing my no date ceramic sub and always liked the piano dial vibes - so I went with the silver. I think this would be a good one-two punch and I can now play with more affordable funky stuff.
