I did! I love the watch. Just hurt my wrist bone. There’s a thread I started on it lol. I have to be careful with SDs (and milgauss) as caseback protrusion bothers me. SD4K I can get away with. SD43 was too much. Deepsea actually didn’t hurt was just too big for me.

The MK I is a little bunched up for my tastes and the disconnect between the style of the "S" on the dial and the Ringlock is quirky. The Corronet is what's known as the "Bart Simpson" style.
The MK II has more of a spaced out layout with the same style "S" font as the ringlock. IMO, it's the most harmonious and possibly the least numerous as it was made for the shortest length of time.
The MK III has a funky offset spacing to the depth rating but is similar to the MK II in every other respect.

The fonts and spacing of the dials and ringlock on the 126660 are all equally harmonious

MK1 “=“ is centered and the DEEPSEA text has the Es that have equal length
MK2 has the = centered as well but the DEEPSEA text has Es with the middle shorter
MK3 has the equals off center to the left closer to the 12800ft= 3900m and the DEEPSEA text is similar to MK2

I’ve owned all three and I like the MK2 as it looks most cohesive and the one I’ve seen the least of but in spirit of originality I would choose a MK1 if I ever bought a black dial again. It has that quirky old school dial charm of old school Subs.

Somewhere around here there’s a thread specifically for this.

With all it's dial variations including the JC, it's the most diverse and interesting reference in the modern era by a very long margin.
Unless there's a massive shift in the fashionable watch size, i believe it will come into its own as a collectable Rolex diver in time

I have the MK II, which is the variant I actually fell in love with as soon as I saw it, simply because of it's utter cohesiveness. It was the first Rolex I've ever bought on sheer impulse(followed by the JC).

The DSSD, the last of the Rolex divers that possesses the remaining key attributes of the Rolex "tool watches" of old.

Love the Deepsea, I’ve owned every variation as I’ve bought the Deepsea four different times. I sold the first one which was a MK2 because I thought it was too big. The watch felt and looked heavy coupled with criticism on this forum it gave me doubts. But I couldn’t stay away from it. The forum gets in your head sometimes.
As soon as I sold it I regretted it, no other Rolex offers what the Deepsea has, namely that domed crystal that is reminiscent of the vintage top hat plexi Subs/Sea-Dwellers. Once you wear it you get used to it and I love the heft, it wears like a pm watch, you just have to size it right.
I now have it once more and the D-Blue wins out for honestly by a very very narrow margin because the black’s matte dial is very dynamic. Jet black on one hand or almost tropical brown in certain sunlight, again more vintage like charm and I find the light reflections on the black dial with the thick crystal to be beautiful.
I hope to own both dials one day.
