What you think of this dial?

A sub 5512 4 liner meters first.

Does it look repainted?
Relumed?
Strange: closed 6 es and the positioning of some letters

I would stay away, dial definitely redone and who knows if all parts are original not aftermarket.
Hard to tell pics are bad, i would keep looking
Crown should also have 3 dots?can someone confirm this?

Can you get an unobstructed picture of the dial taken with daylight? Kind of tough with those pictures.

There is basically one picture that shows most of the dial but the hour hand is blocking the crown and "R" in Rolex, and the minute hand is blocking the top of "ft"...

Crown should still be twinlock and not yet triplock. What makes you sure it is a repainted dial?

By the way, this watch is offered on VRM by a person called Rick T. Any references for that guy?

I do not know the seller but you could post on VRF for references and they will respond to you via PM's...

Crown is twin lock and the dial is definately relumed. Below is a very crisp looking dial from VRF Dial Archive for comparison.

I would not worry about that, you are doing your due diligence.

You could also send him a PM and ask him for references.

I have checked the VRF dial archive and that is what makes me worry, as the S of Submariner is slightly more to the left to the U in superlative there than on the dial offered.
