Question about Starbucks

Dear colleagues!
Dealer called me and said that they have new 2024 Rolex Starbucks. Can you, please, help me to identify, if it is MK2 bezel?
Many thanks!

Padi, this is not accurate. Rolex released a version 2 of the current LV Submariner, with a brighter coloured green bezel.

It's really hard to say under such poor lighting conditions.

Can't the AD answer that question?

It looks MK2 to me. And it is 2024 model then most likely it is.
Ask for photos in brighter setting

Well go into any AD ask for a Mk bezel anything and see what they reply, and variations of colour could be simply down to batch to batch fireing like most ceramic items.

Does a slight variation in color really a deal breaker? Seriously, think about it, are going to have this watch on your wrist & everyday look down at it & think to yourself "Damn, I really can't stand this shade of green!!"

Honestly, if you can't tell if it's MKI or MKII now, does it really matter? You're getting the watch that you want. I have the same watch (2024 Starbucks bought in March of this year), but if you put it side by side with a MKI, sure you might be able to tell a difference in the shade of green, but how often is that going to happen??

If you don't jump on it and hesitate like you are doing now, they might just sell it to someone else. I'm sure you're not the only one on the short list wanting this watch.

At the very least, you should go to the AD and look at it for yourself and decide if this shade of green is what you want. The AD themselves don't know if it's MKI or MKII. They could tell you it's MKII and you wouldn't even know the difference. At the end of the day, if you go in and you like the green, that's all that matters. You won't even care if it's MKI or MKII.

Here's a few of pictures of my Starbucks. Lighting can play a huge role in the bezel color.

Totally true, Rolex haven't updated the model number so it is still the same model today as it was when it was launched.

And Starbucks make coffee, the watch is question is not a cup of coffee.

Stupid nicknames ruin the whole watch owning experience.

Bad lighting in all of the pics he provided.
If it's a new 2024 watch then it should be MK2. Those low light pics make it look like MK1.
I have the MK1 and my brother has the MK2. There is 100% a difference between the two bezels.

I didn't ask my SA. I bought it brand new in March and the card has 2024 on it. It still has stickers on the buckle and sides of the case. I wear it like that until they eventually fall off.

The article below says that Rolex started using a brighter green bezel color like the original Kermit since May of 2023. I'm assuming this would be the MKII bezel. If that is the case, I would have to assume that all Rolex 126610LV models would have the MKII bezel starting May 2023. Which would mean your dealer is offering you the MKII model, if we assume that the article is correct.

Yes, on the card there will be the day of selling. It will be August 24. The problem is that it’s impossible to find out when this LV was produced, 23 or 24. But to be honest you are right, that such watches usually do not stay at the dealer, but sell quickly… So 99% it’s new MK2… Maybe problems with the light. Etc…
