FS: Rolex 1665 Great White Sea Dweller MK1 Box & Paper

Hello All,
For sale is a truly stunning example of a 5.6 serial MK1 1665 Sea Dweller, aka "The Great White". This watch is incredibly crisp and correct


Case: Excellent condition beautifully finished and previously polished case with very thick/even lugs and crown guards. The watch is fitted with a proper T39 superdome crystal, in excellent condition and a beautifully faded light charcoal correct MK3 fat font bezel insert in equally stunning condition.


Dial: Excellent MK1 dial with light patina and matching hand set. The dial is free of and chips, scratches or tool marks and has full and intact tritium plots. I hate to say perfect but this one may be. Comes with the correct silver date wheel with open 6"s and 9's.


Bracelet: Excellent 93150/585 with twelve links and very minimal wear. The bracelet carries a VE clasp code, which is correct for this serial.


Accessories: Comes with inner/outer box and an extremely rare original paper, with matching serial number. It's my understanding that these papers were given in lieu of the Rolex guarantee paper during this time period, from certain stores in Europe. Included as well is a Bucherer spoon, most likely given to the buyer when purchasing the watch in 1979.


The watch is currently running well within COSC spec, winding, and setting as it should.

This is a no nonsense, no issue 1665 in truly stunning condition. Everything on the watch is correct and accounted for from the proper 585 end links to the period correct insert, superdome crystal and bracelet clasp code.
