GMT insert changing from Pepsi to Black
I love Pepsi the most still but just wanna change the look of the watch for a while and luckily I got a hold of new genuine Rolex insert so I just give it a try.
With the info from TRF members, the process was easy and smooth. Thank You! One question is that my watch is pretty new (2 month) and I noticed some grease on the teeth of the bezel and on the inside part of the insert (I think this would make the poping in the insert at the last step easier). So I wondered if I should put back some grease when I change this insert. If so, what type of grease I should use? Thanks in advance Without pictures this would be a lame post I guess Here we go: Before Yeah! I did it! Furgie said "Pepsi is the best, are you sure about that?" "I don't think you line the insert straight" "I like it, nice work boss" Let's try it on Thanks for looking, bye. |

Looks good...
Don't use any grease unless you know what is there....all grease is not compatible and if you use the wrong type it could "bleed out".

Nice work. I am so afraid to do this myself, I can see me scratching my case which I would never forgive myself for.

I recently did the "fall" cahnge, from summer Pepsi to fall burgundy/black.
I think the burgundy/black is nicer than the Pepsi, but the colourful Pepsi is more suited to the summer. I rarely use the all-black bezel insert, since its too similar to my Sea Dweller. C |

You must be an artist. I remember the Oscar from art lessons when I was much younger.

Thanks for your kind of word folks!
I am not an artist, I got that Oscar from IKEA. I guess I won't do anything with the grease then. |

Nice photos and good work! I like the look of each and nice to have the versatility. It's a whole new watch in the process.
