Hello! Bay Area Watch Friends! We are still on for tomorrow so just a friendly reminder. We have 10-20 confirmed, so should be a great time.

I confirmed there is space for us and I will tell them we are the "SF Watch Group". I will wear a green blazer jacket and will be on the look out for others. PM me for contact info.

See you tomorrow at 6PM!

San Francisco GTG - WILD SUCCESS!!!

Hello all! A great turn out for a low key SF G2G. Thanks to everyone who came and those who couldn't but still showed support. An incredible group of guys with even more impressive wrist candy. We were doing something right, because the single women's group picked up our tab for the night.

IWC and Rolex + Tudor had strong showings, as well as Patek and Cartier.
Tag & Omega racing in strong form.
Vintage Seikos in the house.
And my vote for strongest showing was the 1960s Doxa.

We discussed a few different ideas for frequency and decided to target G2G every 6 weeks.

#1 Lesson learned: we need to bring a better camera! Still got a few good shots, though.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

Just sent you a PM.
(Though I'm not very good at checking the PM's, so please include my e-mail in your list?)

Can't wait.....

We've been trying to put together a regular (or even occasional) Zoom GTG, but have been really surprised at how few folks are available! The biggest problem is that there's people all over the world, so it's hard to find the right "day and time" combo that allows us all to get together. Right now, it's next set up for June 26th, a Sat. AM at 09:00, Pacific time.

Check out the AfterDark Sub-Forum, and you'll see the thread.

Now . . . I'm ALL FOR a real meet and greet in SF! I live out near Sacramento, and would definitely head down to The City for drinks and a show/tell with new watch friends!! Let's make this happen!

So, everyone saying they’re interested…
Is there any one person who puts these things together? I don’t wanna step on any toes by starting to come up with proposals, someone someone else usually does this.
But, let’s try to make this happen in the next month or two, by starting some meaningful discussion!
Let’s hear some preferences:

Weekdays versus weekends?
Indoors, or outdoors?
In SF, or surrounding Eastbay?
Lunch-time, or dinner/evening? (I’m assuming meeting at a restaurant where we can order food and drink)

Have I missed anything? What would everyone like? (let’s do this!!)
