5513 Meters First
Hi all!
In my last post there was some interesting comments about the thickness of the bevels in the 60's case so I thought It would be nice to post this before and after photos!! Hope you enjoy then and have a good week everyone! |

That’s pretty amazing. Is is just the angle or is the lower right lug still super thin?

Probably the angle of the bevel and the photo makes it look thinner. Can only see the top side flat with out the bevel.

I would have love to do a full case restoration on this watch but it was not my call. Still looks great for me :) |

It indeed looks just okay despite the lug difference.

It certainly has made a huge difference but am I the only one thinking 'silicone implants'. It looks great but it's somehow artificial, to me anyway.

Thanks
Thaks!! This case was polished may times before durig the life of the watch. Thak you LOL Nice comparison of course the looks of the case seems new when you compare it to the dial or hands. But in a few years the metal will catch up if the watch is used of course and will be at it's best. this is my opinion as well |

I felt the same way too. I still think this process would be better suited to fixing pitting under the caseback and for nothing else.
