Cost of Routine Service Maintenance from Rolex Service Center?

Just curious for those that have had your Rolexes long enough, how much does a routine Rolex servicing cost if you send it out to a Rolex Service center? According to the manual, it says it should be done about every 5 years. Will a watch expert working in-house of an AD do just a good a job for less? I'm assuming these servicings aren't cheap...

That's very accurate. Should take about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. Comes back looking like new.

Many ADs will use their in house watchmaker as a selling tool. If something relatively minor should happen, or an adjustment is needed, some of these guys are excellent. However, if you want a thorough job by highly trained specialists, and you should, then rely on the RSCs. You'll almost get back a new watch. The difference is worth the extra $$.

Hi, Yes The RSC does a very good job, approx cost of service with overhauling, replacing crown, tube, stem, crystal, certain worn out parts, cost roughly USD 500. The comes back LNIB.
Just bought a 5513 (1970) serviced at Beverly Hills RSC cost USD521 (incl. taxes)
