So I’m going on a cruise. What are my chances

So I’m going on a cruise. Actually a couple of them. What are my chances of actually finding a black stainless submariner (126610L) or a no date from authorized dealer? Completely laughable?
I’ll be going to the Bahamas and Cancun
Figure there’s no chance in hell. I’ve already registered with my authorized dealer who was very pleasant and basically gave me some hope. But obviously said there was no telling when or if it would happen.

I’m thinking slim but you gotta give it a go, right? I would give the ADs a call or shoot them an email and let them know what you’re looking for. Takes 5 minutes worth of work, and who knows, you might get lucky.

Well, there might be a few, on some of your fellow cruise goers. Not sure if you will find any, but good luck and enjoy the hunt.

Make sure you get to the AD as early as you can on a Friday when they put out that weeks stock, and have your credit card in your bathing suit bro!! I'd pick out a green bezel one, but that is just me

Well I would normally say zero. However pre Covid I got a Hulk in Grand Cayman and a Bluesy in Cancun on another cruise so you never know. Both were in the back. Starting chatting it up and once I guess they realized I was not a flipper and a serious buyer they brought them out.

Best of luck.

No harm in trying, just don't ruin your vacation looking for a watch. If you get lucky, good for you, and if not enjoy your cruise.

You have more chance of the cruise ending with no cases of Covid on board....

You might find one on someone's wrist. But in a AD:

I think you'll find them. They are on the passengers' wrists.

You can get lucky. I bought my SD43 in August 2018 from AD in Dominican Republic.

the Cayman islands are are not taking cruise ships at least till the end of Jan2022 but there opening has been pushed back already so expect that to be at least end of Feb or more likely March.

Zero chance, but it’s still worth trying if you want one

So doing quick math I’d say 95% of you are basically saying you have no chance in hell buddy!
Been to the Bahamas many times see no reason to just walk around aimlessly so I will hit all three A.D.’s and see what the heck happens. There’s also one on Paradise Island but I’m not sure I can get over there I’ve never tried. Really appreciate the comments though.
