Icon5 Anchor Key Ring Question

What was the last model/year that ROLEX included the Anchor Key Ring with the Sea-Dweller?

I think around 2004 or so - could be wrong. I'm sure I'll be corrected shortly :)

Too bad they didn't make one for the DSSD. I guess that the anchor would have to be redesigned for the redesigned DSSD, though? Ha!

I read an article which indicated that Rolex stopped distributing the anchors sometime in 2005.

Also, I think the "dropping" of the anchors (bad pun intended) happened sometime in the middle of the "F" serials. If you have an "F" you may or may not have gotten one. Anything after "F" would not have come with an anchor.

A nice touch that Rolex did away with. Too bad. I appreciate the answers, though.

I put my anchor on my key ring about 2 weeks ago and I've gotten my keys caught on the steering wheel twice (it is an anchor after all)

I like it and dropping my keys periodically is not a big thing.
