New arrival...Rare bird...Haven't seen one here

Japan edition 26239BC, limited to 222 pieces. Crafted in white gold with a strikingly vibrant and reflective blue dial, it is noticeably brighter than the standard blue on the 26331 and 26240 models, which appear more muted in comparison. This timepiece became my grail as soon as I saw its release in 2021. However, when prices surged, I thought it would be unattainable. Hard work does pay off! These watches were reaching close to $300k at their peak, but some have finally come back down to reality, offering excellent value for a precious metal version. After searching for a few months, I was thrilled to find a reasonably priced complete set from a reputable overseas seller.

Absolute beauty. Does this have the inhouse movements of the 26240s and have an display caseback?

Congratulation! Stunning watch and that unique blue dial.

How heavy is this watch compared to the 15510ST?

Some sold in Oct and Nov for close to that, then prices went up for some reason. When I inquired in a bunch of chats and groups they wanted 95-135.

Substantially heavier. I'd say 2.5x heavier than my 26331ST is a likely guess.

Thanks for the compliments. Here's a few more pics. None of the pics have had the color altered. The ambient lighting really plays with the dial since it is so reflective

What a great dial! Two points:
1. This demonstrates how much the little AP logo on the dial adds to the aesthetic, IMHO;
2. This is a uniquely deep blue color that seems to have components of the VC Overseas electric blue in combination with the AP blue nuit. This is properly reserved for a limited edition piece.

I'm definitely in love. My 26331 likely will get sold as I have no desire to wear it anymore with this in the collection

Outstanding - that blue and the icy shimmer of AP WG make a killer combo.
