Why is [img] turned off?
I was trying to post photos of my Rolexes, but I see that option is turned off.
Is that a profile setting, or a board setting? Thanks, George |

I think it's a profile setting as images work OK for me.

Agrab, you are attaching files uploaded from your hard drive; I want to display the image in my post by linking directly to a photo hosting site.

Earl, I don't keep the photos on my PC at work; I staged them on a hosting site so I can get to them while I should be working. ;)
Is the feature turned off for a reason? By letting people link to photos, you would save on storage and its attendant costs. George Last edited by mbogo; 28 May 2005 at 01:02 PM.. |

The feature is temporarily off due to the Troll atack last week.
As soon as the security is beefed up it should be ok. |

Alpet is correct. Now that mods are in place, when I get better Internet speed than 28.8, I'll re-enable. I won't be back home for about 10 days.
Until then, use the boards attachment system. |

Thanks, I thought that might have been the reason.
