Pam 305?

Forgive me if there is already a thread, my Tapatalk is acting up, but any of you WIS have a PAM 305? What’re your thoughts on it?

For some reason I’ve been infatuated with this one for a bit.

Thanks!

I think it’s the first 1950 Luminor Submersible case. It’s thicker than the usual Submersible. I for one wasn’t sold with the model.

Thanks for the reply! Interesting, I didn’t realize us was the first 1950 Luminor Submersible. I generally don’t like watches thicker and in this diameter, but I dig this one. Seems to wear well

If thickness is a concern, how about the 1305?

Yes, I just went and looked at the 1305, and I'm in love... I've usually all about Rolex in that price point, but damn I like it.

I have the 1305 and along with the 372 are my favorite watches of all time.

The 305 is a nice watch and a friend has one and loves it. I always liked the 243 and think the 305 is a very close, upsized version, of the 243. I own a 389 and like the bezel better but it is a matter of personal choice as both have the 1950 case. Buy pre-owned as the depreciation on these divers is massive. You should be able to find one for $6500-7000. Good luck.

AD knocked a little off a brand new one, and since I’ve been eyeing this reference for so long, I decided to rock and roll with it. I never buy brand new from an AD.....

However, I LOVE this watch. For a guy who’s majority a Rolex fan boy, that says a lot. Haha

That's a nice looking setup too! 524 is fantastic also. For a 47mm, the 1305 wearing very well. I think Panerai crushed this model.

Look at the 42mm PAM 682, same design smaller size.

I tried on the 682, it wears even smaller than a 42mm luminol 1950 case.! the 47mm 1305 is a bit too large for me. think i should look for a 44mm submersible

find yourself a pam 24 or 25 to try on.
