Icon20 authorized dealer

I do own jewelry store In Baghdad, Iraq.

I would like to know how to obtain a franchise or how to become an authorized dealer for Rolex in Iraq.

Would like to know what the terms and conditions are to get it.

Contact Rolex direct but I doubt they are ready to open in Iraq yet

No one here can give you an answer, only Rolex Corp. can answer if they'd do it or not.
Good luck!

I have contacted Rolex, but their response is unclear.

So I'm trying to reach out to people who have been able to become authorized dealers to Rolex and explain to me the appropriate way to get approval.

Anyone on a forum and say anything. The accuracy of those statements can be situation specific and not apply to all situations.

Since you have reached out the Rolex directly, what did they state that was unclear to you?

No one on this forum can or will be able to accurately answer your question. If you have reached out to RolexSA and their response is “unclear” that sounds like a “no” to me.

This is Rolex response: However, we are sorry to inform you that we are already in contact with all major jewellers and watch stores in Iraq but do not plan to enlarge our distribution network for the time being.

In fact, there is no store in Iraq that communicates with Rolex or receives its products directly from Rolex.

When I asked Rolex to mention the name and address of the jewel shops that deal with them, they didn't answer it.

Sounds more like they already have major shops/chains that have contacted them to open in Iraq but Rolex is not interested in opening in that area for one reason or another. That's a nice round about no from them.

It sounds like they're not interested in expanding to your location and if they did, you would not be their choice of jeweler.

Sounds like your best bet is to sell pre-owned at this time

Unfortunately Iraq is currently blacklisted for various reasons, once circumstances allow, Rolex has a short list of names that will aquire multiple dealerships when the time is right.

As of now, Iraq is supplied through Jordan (niche clients only).

I hope this helps

If I visit Rolex HQ in switzerland myself, may I get more accurate information about how to get approval ?

Not likely...
You should have gone to Watch & Wonders to talk to them but I think they already gave you their answer.

Well, there you have it. The are not adding any ADs at the moment in Iraq. How many they have there, if any, is really not relevant to their answer and your application.

Yes bro. If you're serious about it buy a plane ticket and find someone who can talk with you.
