Aerospace
It's funny, but the two watches that I keep hearing WIS's saying have to be tried in order to be a fully-fledged member of this sometimes ridiculous club are both quartz; the Tuna and the Aerospace. I owned the former for long enough to fall completely in love with it, and now - after a couple of years of resistance - I own the latter.
What a watch! By far the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my wrist, and a watch that's just... I don't know, fit for purpose. In my notional "reduced to three" collection, this would be firmly in it.

With you 100% this is my daily. It takes any and all abuse! Water, dirt, etc.
No asking: Can I this or that with it. As for the Tuna, I have to agree, but it would have to be mechanic. I do not like the way second hands tic/move on quartz watches.

Breitling Aerospace, is a very good election.
Complete, thin, proffesional, with a lot of functions, a good collection must have one inside. Congratulations very clever buy. |

I decided to go for a leather strap this time but i might try to get a titanium for it as well! It's a right pain taking it off every time i jump in the shower lol
As you can see T2 is set to GMT +1 as i'v just got back from Munich. |

Just recently acquired one as well. Fantastic watch. Perfect for work. Light weight, not very noticeable. Fantastic features, in a beautiful design. Lastly, something about the titanium is just "cool."

Agree with all of that. In fact, I wear mine very regularly and often don't actually want to change it.

Your post brings up an interesting point. Although I tend to dislike quartz watches, the Aerospace is no problem due to the lack of a "ticking" seconds hand. I actually prefer the simplicity of the two hand dial.

Another watch I am interested in in this category is the x33. Fine example of one in the FS section now. Would love to see a comparison on the Aerospace and the x33. Speaking of aerospace bands. Any good suggestions people have? Websites, etc.? |
