I think it's fine. Builds character. You can probably pay for laser welding but it's probably a waste on a tool watch, and it might happen again. If it messed up the entire lug and the bracelet didn't fit, I'd see it being worth fixing. Otherwise, probably not.

I have the exact same dent. It will need to be laser welded, but I just left it alone. It took a little bit, but I got over it. Merry Christmas.

Just about anything can be fixed. This is why I wear my Sub 24/7. Can’t drop it.

Sub fallll

Absolutely can be fixed. Mike at Rolliworks can probably make quick work of this.

I’d just wear it and enjoy it now. You’ll cost yourself a lot of money fixing every dent .

Merry Christmas

Definitely fixable, but I would personally leave it alone. It's kinda in an inconspicuous spot vs on the bezel or higher up the lug. As I've heard others say, wait a bit and the initial "pain" will go away some. Then see how you feel and if you can live with it. If you fix this one, we all know more scratches and dings will come along. Start fixing every single one and you will feel the need to do it each and every time imo.

Merry Christmas to you as well.

Merry Christmas, for me it’s a Sub and we’ll enjoyed. I would let it be and handled at service

It happened. You can’t change that. Just enjoy it until the next service and they’ll take care of it.

A skilled laser welder could easily make that look like new again.
Pretty easy for them…specially 904L.

Such is watch ownership. I would repair it and if it happens again, I would repair it again. Big difference in the day to day wear and scratches and this. Just like my car, once damaged it is repaired. Not ridding around with significant damage nor am I going to wear a watch with significant damage when the repair is easily at hand. I don't have too.
