I don't own it but the Series 5 would be my 1 watch for the rest of my life. While it doesn't have the best finishing, the dial is interesting enough to last my interest for a life time.

Damn this is a tough question. My initial answer is the De Bethune DB25 Starry Varius Aérolite. Sadly I don’t own it.

I have a couple of really nice watches (to me anyway). But if something went down and I could only have one, it would probably be a Sub Date variant - probably my 126619LB or 116610LN. Either could go a lifetime.

If were to give up all my watches except for one, i would keep my PN 6241 Daytona.

Oh damn that is nice. I would be happy to just be able to handle one in person. I can’t even imagine owning one.

I would really have difficulties choosing between S1 and S5 if I have the chance...

If it's one I currently own would definitely be one of my Marine big dates probably this blue version:

If can be any watch may go with the Vacheron ultra thin perpetual calendar skeleton. This one (picture from Vacheron's Website)

For personal reasons I’d go either Daytona 116500 black or 5270J

I hate to say it, but my "only-watch" would be No Date Sub 14060M or the current 41mm.

Its the watch that works in the ocean in the morning, garage fixing the car in the afternoon, and to ball room in the evening, and I can hand it off to my kid when my time is up and the process continue.

So tough to pick just one. But as a watch that can do casual and dress, with the benefit of some useful WR for pool duty if required, this can pretty much do it all.

(I still would like a SS Rolex or two, though!)

If you can only have 1 watch for the rest of your life what would it be?

Good topic but unfortunately we are cursed, there will be no one watch only, you know and I know

Because even we would have all the money in the world to buy that watch, after some time we would want the next precious one, that one the only one and then there will be another only and best one ….

BTW nice photos
