Incoming!

Today I went and bought myself a yachtmaster 126622! This watch has always caught my eye but never been at the forefront of my to do list until I couldn’t stop watching videos/reviews on it 2 days ago. I found a fairly local grey dealer near me who had one at a very fair price. I traded in my 36mm Datejust and put some cash towards her.

It’s a very comfortable watch to wear, the case sits great on the wrist.

What a lovely watch, you could wear this watch anywhere from running on the beach to a la carte fine dining. It’s baffling how “underrated” these watches are. Excellent value for money in today’s market in my opinion! Now I just need a yacht…

Congrats, it’s a beauty. Certainly an under-rated reference. Enjoy and wear it in good health.

This is one of my favorites. I held back from it for years… I was wrong! I’m glad I was able to get mine back in May.

Congrats. Looks bang on.
How does the size compare to your BLNR

The side By side shot looks great. Do you notice the bezel:dial difference between the two?

For some reason i feel the polished and sand blasted bezel elevates the look compared to the ceramic BLNR, to a much more refined level.

Thank you for sharing.

I rarely get to see the blue dial Yatchmaster in natural lighting.

Looks great.

It wears completely different when comparing to the GMT, I find it very comfortable whereas the maxi case on the GMT is obviously bigger and also sits on the wrist higher.

First impressions with the YM is I prefer the way it wears! The design is more sleek for sure. I have had the YM for less than 24 hours so I can't comment too much on which I prefer, yet. But let's just say the YM is a fantastic watch.

If you already have a sub then the GMT is pretty similar in that sense. I think your collection is a lot more diverse with your YM!

I have a CHNR, a sub date 41 and a YM. For whatever reason the YM is the one having most of the wrist time. It is very comfortable and good for any occasion!

The size and case difference for me is noticeably a lot more comfortable than the GMT! It's definitely something different and a completely different experience to the GMT, which I like!

The platinum bezel is fantastic IMO, as you say it looks very sleek & refined.
