Icon19 Rootbeer 126711CHNR GMT Master mystery

A relative newbie to the Rolex world. I could understand why the Rolex sports model is so popular -
Good looking, robust, relatively cheap, hunger marketing (maybe)

However, most of the hot models are steel or precious metal. Only GMT master Rootbeer which is two-tone... The price now is skyrocketing now.

I have never seen one in reality. Can some experienced Rolex fans elaborate a bit? Cheers.

It’s an awesome and unique piece imo. The depth of the RG changes in different lighting. My favorite daily piece for work since i can wear it with black or brown shoes/accessories. It’s received unsolicited compliments from non watch people for what its worth. My only other piece to get compliments is the hulk.

Don’t know how hard can I get it. Always wanted a GMT. I’m heading to my ad tomorrow. Any information?

You may have to see it in person to really understand. Its one that the pictures and videos don't do it justice. I never really felt much for it one way or the other until I saw it in person and my jaw about dropped.

It's a great looking watch and I love the way the brown compliments the rose gold.

126711CHNR is a beautiful reference but I passed on it twice from my AD.
Because I already own the original…
That dial

Fat lugged heavy looking rectangular-ish maxi case makes it not for me.
Make it like a 5-digit model and I will be next in line.

Such a unique and beautiful piece. It really stands out in a sea of steel watches.

Personally not a fan. I like the full RG much better, feels more cohesive. If I had to get a TT sports model I'd get the Bluesy as the overall color scheme is not as warm. The Rootbeer feels a bit jarring with the warm rose gold and cold steel. I can see how people like it though, just not my thing.

I'm not a TT fan, it's the best looking one, voted 3/10.

The modern version is only 75000 x better looking than the original. I may have missed a zero …..

Judging by the picture, I thought it's the best Rolex ever. I purchased one with MSRP. Almost immediately after my purchase, I was disappointed because it was different from the picture. The RG looks like copper than gold. So, I'm not that crazy about TT CHNR.

Need to see in person.

Like you, I’m waiting for this line to get rid of the maxi case. Beside that, this watch is stunning.
