Incoming SD43!!!
AD in Houston, Texas delivered big on this 50th Anniversary SD43...delivered on day-50-from-inquiry big...I couldn't be more excited to share this timepiece with y'all.
The quick and dirty: I live in Idaho, my parents live in Houston. My Idaho AD told me the wait on 126600 was 8-12mo minimum and gave me the often-heard jeweler company-line (totally their prerogative!! NOT hating) of "you can become a preferred customer by picking up some of our stock in the interim to become prioritized." I thanked them and off I went. Inquiry made in Houston, delivered earlier than estimated by a month, booked tickets the day it arrived (last Thur) and picked up my grail today, Monday. Super special to share this Rolex experience with a visit down to the folks, post Harvey, 2 years out. Double watch pic is my first diver (purchased in 1993) Tag Heuer Professional 200 (original bezel, case and bracelet/clasp; replacement dial, hands, and movement due to busted crown seal) that my father has rocked as a daily beater, since I acquired my Omega Seamaster 2231.80 in 2000. Today, my grail sits on my 7.875" (20.0025 cm) wrist...also Houston in humid! Thank goodness for the 2mm micro-adjustments!! Feels awesome to join the club. fullsizeoutput_f07.jpeg fullsizeoutput_f13.jpeg fullsizeoutput_f01.jpeg fullsizeinput_f1a.jpeg fullsizeoutput_f1f.jpeg |

I wouldn't say its a 50th Anniversary as there are a number of differences between the 50th Anniversary and the SD43. Sorry to be pedantic, a great watch and I am sure you will love it. Well done :)

That’s interesting got my SD43 last week apart from the small crown at 6 between Swiss Made are there any other visual differences? I know that the new SD has the newer mechanism inside with the 70 hr reserve and I thought that was the only difference from the one released in 2017 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The only differences since initial release are the small crown between "Swiss" and "Made" and a very slight font change on the dial itself. You're not being pedantic, you're being mistaken

Very nice SD43! I have one of those Tag Heuer Professional 200's. I can't take this same picture yet, but hopefully within a year I will be able to.
