Rolex & Tudor pick ups
Although not originally on my list, AD offered me a 36mm green OP as part of the Saudi National Day promotion which made available some green dial watches....wife really likes my 41mm and so it was purchased for her....
Same weekend was in Bahrain and picked up the new Tudor blue chrono....really beautiful watch and the dial really pops, very happy to grab one....AD told me he had an initial batch of about 25 of these just 2 or 3 weeks back and the one I bought was the last of those.... Additionally, picked up some nice swag with the purchases including some Rolex chocolates and female perfume...and on the Tudor side a baseball hat (pretty solid quality for a freebie) a really cool keychain with a bunch of Tudor emblem attachments, and another quality Tudor leather pouch... Also added some pictures from the Rolex store in Bahrain airport which had a few tasty pieces for sale.....finally saw the green laquer daydate albeit with diamond bezel....also had the TT GRNR and Sub, rose gold blue dial skydweller and a couple of nice daytonas for sale....quite a good selection for sale from an airport AD....for anyone wondering 1 Bahraini Dinar is about 2.66 $ |
