How much does this watch from the 80s to 90s currently go for?

Somewhere between $5,000 and $40,000.

You can look on Chrono24 and eBay for hundreds of comparisons.

Maybe the best way to approach this op would be to maybe post a picture of something you like with the asking price and ask the question does it look legit. After that you might get help telling you more info and then it’s your call if you want to spend the money.
Watches can go for various different prices for different reasons only you can decide if something is worth it

This is about as good an answer as you can expect without a bit more detail.

Wow, that’s not bad! (Although there aren’t any 18038s from the 90s, their run was 1977-87)

I think 996marty above has it about right - Choose one or two that you’d consider, then post photos or links before buying.

Assuming there are no custom or otherwise non-OEM parts, among the major factors in pricing them are:
- Whether it has a bracelet, and its condition
- What dial it has, and its condition (champagne dials are generally the least expensive, while some rarer dials like stone or Stella can be worth >4X the rest of the watch)
- The condition of the rest - case, movement, hands, crystal, crown, etc.

Other factors include hidden vs. standard clasp, lume vs. no lume, service history, box and papers, etc.
