Cartier Tank (Large)

My wife very recently purchased a Cartier Tank, size large, on a bracelet. She also wanted to purchase the Cartier leather strap so that she could change the look every so often.

The AD made enquiry and advised that the leather strap for the size large Tank only comes with a deployment buckle and not a pin buckle. Yet when I check the Cartier website it shows the Tank extra large as having the deployment buckle and the Tank large as having the pin buckle. This seems directly at odds with what the AD has advised.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case?

Also, do all the new Tanks have an easy change mechanism on the straps and bracelets?

The large rose gold Tank LC on the brown leather strap comes with a rose gold pin buckle.

I inquired with Cartier about a deployant and it is a substantial upcharge, somewhere in the realm of an extra $2K if I recall...

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I think I will just phone Cartier direct. See exactly what they are saying. Thanks again.

DHJ1977, how are you finding the watch?
