quite a bit of pink tudor chronos?

when it was first released I think the wording form tudor was that "very few will be ever made" or something like that. But I see like 50 on chrono and 5 or so on watchfinder alone.

Does any one has any info re if tudor has decided to produce more of these and if it is still a limited run?

Tudor lost their credibility. I am not a fan anymore after they started making so many pink chronos. Not true to their word.

They are not / will not be nearly as "limited" as Tudor made them out to be. They never gave any definite number that will be produced, or time span in which they will stop being made. Tudor has enjoyed some beneficial hype lately with new release watches like the some Pelagos variants, the Ranger, Black Bay monochrome, BB58 Chrono, and the Pink (and now Blue I guess) chronographs. All of these watches have sold on the secondary market for higher than retail for a time when initially introduced. Some, like the Ranger, have proven to not be very popular and quickly tanked in value. Others have yet to be tested in the longer run.

But in general, I think when these hyped watches come out, there are plenty of flippers who make money off reselling them, and the "rarer" and more hyped a watch is, the more flippers will do what they do best... wait in line at the AD, get the watch, and immediately list it for sale online at an inflated price.

I think if you reached out the these sellers and asked for the serial # you would find out they don’t have it. They are going to try to source it for you. So, number of listings on C24 is very deceptive.

I read on many IG posts and watch review posts that “Tudor” said they would be very limited but I never once saw an official Tudor press release with that message. Just a bunch of 3rd hand info spread to hype the resale.
Time will tell but my local dealer expects them to trickle in at first then be in the case within six months. I expect they will have one to sell to me.

Highly overrated watch. Prices are beginning to fall sharply. Like others have said, not as limited as they were made out to be. All hype but eventually it fades.

Each to its own..to me it is thick and a bit ugly..so buy only if you like it. For investment, hell no

Personally I wonder how many of them have an aftermarket dial. After all how hard is it to make a pink dial and have everything else authentic. There's almost no way to know.

I passed on one offered to me a few months back. Super hyped piece and much prefer the recent blue dial release.

I think the confusion comes because initially they were meant to be limited for david beckhams fuzzball team…..

….then Tudor released them to the general public aswell. Theres one thats been sitting in my local AD for the last few weeks…..either that or its not the same one ans they have a few in stock that theyre trickling out.

Nowehere near £10000 that people are asking for, and frankly if you buy one at that price you deserve to be stung when the price free falls

I am a fan of the Pink and the Blue and the White and the Black Tudor Chronos. Every watch is not for everyone and that is ok. When the secondary market is at 2x-3x the msrp on a watch you create an opportunity for a watch to be purchased and flipped. Just the facts. And with those prices you can actually turn someone into a flipper who otherwise would not be one. Tudor will release them as they choose or not. My AD has received two Pink Dial Chronos and I was fortunate enough to receive one. I checked with my AD on the new Blue Dial Chrono and was told exactly what the press release said, Boutique only. So I called a Boutique and bought one. I could care less if they are trading for more/less or in between. These are watches, that for right now, I am just going to wear and enjoy.

Good post Dr. I recently picked this up and it’s super fun. Super thick too

It does seem like a bit of trickery from the co. but that’s not why I bought it.

The piece was in stock at my AD recently. As mentioned above, I don't care if it paid me to wear it, I can't strap that piece to my wrist anyways. Not a fan.

It’s a nice watch. I was offered one 2 weeks ago. Liked it, but in reality probably wouldn’t wear it much.

Tells you a bit about how limited these are as watchfinder have 4 and won’t buy any more - will only sell for you on consignment.

That said, I like the new blue but don’t live near a Tudor boutique so hey ho

It’s a cool colour and a neat way of discouraging people from viewing this brick from the side.

It's all relative. All Tudor timepieces are relatively rare.

Ok, not as rare as H. Moser, as those are rare, very rare.

I think its a fine watch, I love the pop of pink. I would buy one for my wife but it's way too big for her wrist, I'd love to pick up a coral red, turquoise blue or candy pink Rolex instead but I can justify playing the huge markup. I guess I'll keep patiently waiting till the prices come back down some more.
