5524G vs 7234G

Has anyone out there in Patek Land opted for a 7234 over a 5524? I had a 5524G a few years ago and was not a big fan of the size or shape.

I have 7 inch wrists so not dainty but not huge either. I wear my 5167 as a daily and was looking for something useful on a strap.

I have a fairly small wrist. The 7234 was a no-brainer since the 5524 wears pretty big for a 42. The 7234 feels to me to be the perfect size.
