Questions on this 3940G with Swapped Dial

I have been looking for a 3940G for a few months now and keep eyeing this one on C24. I am specifically looking for one towards the end of the model run 2002-2007 in white gold with a white or grey dial so I can throw a ton of different straps on it and use it as a daily with a lot of outfits.

The listing says the following:
Original dial with Roman numerals ( ref : 3940G-025 ). It has been changed by Patek Philippe to the more desirable one with applied gold baton hour markers ( ref: 3940G-013).

How does this change the desirability and value of the watch? It gets a lot of views daily on the site but hasn't been sold in months, does the dial factor into that or just the price and demand?

Here is the C24 link for reference:

In general, a 3940G-025 with the dial of a 3940G-013 will not be as valuable as the more desirable ref. 3940G-013 with its original dial.

I don't know what the price would or should be, but if I was satisfied with a non-original dial, I wouldn't pay the same or very close to the same price as for an all-original 3940G-013.

The 3940 has become somewhat of a collectible piece, and the highest collectible value requires a fully original piece.
