Red Submariner Listed on TRF

.
Listing was just removed, maybe for a listing violation. (He listed six watches versus the allowed daily of 5).

This was the prior link, listed by user: Hailwood Peters
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=898198

Still listed on their website
https://hailwoodpeters.com.au/en/wat...d-1975-9822554

Careful out there -

Sorry, thought it was obvious.

Dial is no good. Refinished (if on original plate)..

He calls it a Mk-6 on his website, nothing looks like Mk-6. Compare with the trio of Red Sub dials above, from the top - Mk4 Mk5 Mk6 (since those are the feet first dials).

It's fun to find the inconsistensies. Use the markers I pointed on his dial so you can see the differences to the other three..

Thank you very much for the learning. 1680 is not one of the watches I know well. Greatly appreciate your “Eagle eye” and willingness to share.

Sometimes I think I know a little, but then I see something like what the OP spotted and realize I know nothing.

Two weeks and it's still up at the website. I would think that listing a red Sub with a fake dial and probably other issues would not be good for business.

It has also been posted on here too:

In the same case, I’m pretty sure this explorer have a fake patina
Looks too much orange for me for a 1996 watch.
