Vandaag Schallmauer
I got this watch a while ago, but finally got around to publishing my review of it. Vandaag is a relatively new German microbrand, and the Schallmauer was their debut piece. This is a quartz watch, but has some of the cleanest dial finishing I've seen on a watch under $1000. They are also using Nemoto lume instead of Super LumiNova. Nemoto has a very interesting story (one of the pioneers of non-radioactive pigments) and this is my first encounter with this brand.

Very nice and definitely has the Pilot watch look down, but does it really need a dive watch bezel- yes it's resistant to 100 meters but is anyone really going to go diving with this?

A count-down pilot bezel (like Sinn) would've been nicer, but this isn't too out of place. That said, I would not take this into the water given that there's no screw-down crown or water proof pushers.
