1) no. you bought this watch and the warranty is over (you did not provide a date)
2) you call rolex and tell them what's up and they'll send you a shipping box where you can deal with this yourself. |

![]() If it is within the warranty period, and this is a malfunction not brought about by damage, it would likely be covered by warranty. Of course, if it is beyond the warranty period, then no, it would not be covered.

The watch was bought early 2017, when I unscrew the watch, it immediately hacks and when I try to push back one position, it hacks the hour and minute hand but not the second hand.

As long as it isn't from a grey, I think this should be covered as long as there is no noticeable physical damage. |

In the winding position, the seconds hand continues to tick away happily and so it sounds like it is working exactly as it is supposed to when you "push it back one position". "Hacking" is when you pull the stem out to the hand setting position and the seconds hand stops, or "hacks" - it doesn't refer to any other hands.

Do you have a named and dated warranty card from the AD who sold it to DSW?

Does the warranty card have your name on it? I am sure that makes things easier but I think as long as the watch has warranty left, I don't see an issue.

Good article on Rolex warranties. Follows the watch, supposedly this information came direct from the manufacturer, so if it has a 5 year warranty and you have the card, you should be good:

i would ship to the Dallas RCS. New York is not highly recommend on this forum. They are not always easy to deal with. I haven't heard of any poor experiences with Dallas. I have dealt with both and Dallas is without a doubt far superior in customer relations.
Good luck!

The warranty question is anyone's guess unless you can provide more info about when it was first sold by an AD. If it was sold by an AD 7 years ago and sat in someone's safe until a dealer bought it and sold it to you then it may be out of warranty.
When you bought it, how much warranty were you told was left? |
