The Cosmograph Daytona
Hello Everyone
I am a male in their 30s and Im looking at getting this watch. One of the decisions I am trying to make is that which colour should I get. Is EVEROSE suitable for a man? (straight too lol) What about white gold or yellow gold? I am probably leaning to one of these three colours only. White gold is safe and more conservative, the rest yes they do make a statement ie everose or yellow gold. All posters opinions will be valued and respected and either sex too, be interesting to get the opinions of both sexes. |

I believe all daytonas are fitted for men and women who want to wear it my mom is wearing my deepsea once in a while does that make it a girl watch ?
IMO the everose gold is REALLYREALLY nice or also if you think it would be a little too flashy you can have it on leather strap all your choice all the best. |

Everose is my ultimate favorite color, however it wont really work as an 'every-day' kind of timepiece unless you think you can pull it off. Safe one would probably be solid gold. Good Luck! although i doubt you can ever go wrong with a rolex, regardless lol

An everose Daytona on a strap looks A1 but the strap may not be comfortable to wear all day in Oz.
A straight Australian male.....how unusual.

I really like WG. It is subtle but really heavy and has a lustre that most people won't see until they see the watch up close. Here are some amateur pics:

I personally like the whitegold best, but yellowgold looks great with a black face.

I would go for rose gold. IMO its not as blink blink as yellow gold and differentiates yourself from the steel watches you see everywhere. More importantly, rose gold has its own weight in value compared to white gold-:)

Both these Rolex 'golds' are 18K Choo and the white gold amalgams are usually of more value.

It sounds like you really want the Everose so I say Go For It! You'll feel great every time you look at it..Rolexes have a way of doing that..

Platinum?
What about the platinum version? Admittedly, it is a different price sphere, but the color combination is incredibly beautiful and unique. Platinum shows understatement and is very heavy, the watch weights some 300 g. I had it on my wrist and it is realty a very special watch.

everose on leather looks magnificent!
get a rubberB for summer use and use leather in winter if it is going to be a daily wearer because of the heat/perspiration |
