Recommended service providers?
While reading here this evening, I came across Rolliworks, which is not terribly far from my home. Had not heard of them until now.
I was planning to send a watch to a Rolex service center when they open and was wondering what the smart people here think. Is that the best way to go, or are there other servicers out there that are well-regarded? Not sure if my local dealer does the work but figured best to send to the mothership. Less focused on the cost. It will be what it will be, and I want it done right. If it matters, it's a Zenith Daytona, and the cosmo features are not working. Watch has never been serviced. Also, I know this is likely to generate some strong opinions, but what is the conventional wisdom on polish/chamfering? |

The old RSC, 210 Post Road in the City is always a good bet. Giovanni is an old school watchmaker with high marks.

I'd go to Rolliworks. I've used them in the past. Incredible service. Fast turnaround and excellent communication throughout. And, they should be more reasonably priced.
