Opinions on the 26315st Panda as my first AP?

I don’t ever see myself buying a Code or a ROO and likely interested in only one or two Royal Oaks. The economics of thus building a boutique relationship don’t make sense to me, especially with the restrictions on re-selling with a minimum 3 year wait, especially now when secondary prices are lower than they’ve ever been post the 2022 craziness.

Considering thus which AP to add first and thinking the 26315st with the white disk and blue sundials. 38 (have a 6.5 inch wrist), a decent thinness and looks nice. Any others I should be considering? Does the lack of an in-house movement (and see through case back) bother current owners?

Would also love thoughts vs a 15400st and a 15300st. 15500 and 15510 are out of the picture for me since they wear too large and are thick. The thinness of the 15400 is appealing to me and the dimensions of the 15300 is as well. However, folks have described the 15300 movement as problematic.

Thanks. How does it wear compared to your ceramic Daytona? Slightly concerned it might wear too small

Great watch!
I find it more comfortable than a Daytona personally.

Hahaha for me it’s feel even a bit bigger then my daytona.
Don’t know how to describe it but you feel “a lot of watch on your hand”

If I had to choose one AP to have forever it would be the 26315, although in RG. It is a very special piece, and also the perfect size.

If you do not "need" the chrono look, I would vote 15300 as it is such a perfect piece as well. The 3120 is not problematic, it is just a bit more delicate and not as durable as a Rolex movement (such as 4130)

Among the sub-39mm ROs, the white/blue chrono would be my pick as well. Surprised the Jumbo isn't on the list, as that would come to mind first for most people.

the 26315 will wear slightly bigger than a 116500. those daytonas are pretty much right in between a 37mm RO and 38mm ROC. i don't think you'll have any issues or regrets with the size

15400s are pretty big and the bracelets are really wide. you'd probably be able to pull it off but 38mm should be a better fit. 15300s are in the sweet spot for most people and have better proportions but you really gotta know what to look for when going for those because a lot of them will be over polished. pretty sure prices came crashing down to earth for them too but i feel like i'd rather just have a jumbo if i want that look

Agree on the 15300. Either steel or gold, it is the best bang for your buck while being a perfect size. It is also pretty modern with screw down crown and the 3120 movement. I can't believe the 15300's are THAT much cheaper than 15400's, etc.
