Acquired a 126711CHNR Root Beer Today

We went to have the wife's DJ band adjusted and the AD offered me the opportunity to pick up a "Root-Beer" (126711CHNR). I picked it up, good decision or not?

If you like it, it’s a good decision. If you don’t, it’s a horrible decision. I hope it’s the former.

Besides, it's too late. not sure how people makes these decisions if you didn't want the item, I assume you wanted it because if he offered you a special edition Michael Kors gold plated watch, would you have bought it, but congratulations I think.
I think its an amazing watch.

If you aren’t sure and you only got it because offered, I’d keep it a month or so. If you haven’t bonded with it, get rid of it then.

Good decision. If you like it you win. If you don't you can sell it and get your money back. No harm done here.

While not for everyone, CHNR is a beautiful watch. Got mine a year ago, and have really enjoyed it. But, to each their own personal preference. As someone already stated, wear it for a while and if you don't like it...you can likely sell it and still come out ahead.

Just flip it already. If you’re asking strangers if you make a good call or not, then you obviously don’t care about the watch. Why does that even matter?

Serious question why would you even consider purchasing if you were unsure?

Simply because from what I've noticed GMT's are few and far between/tax write off.

What’s you’re favourite watch?

That’s the one I’d buy

I understand why the op purchased the watch, but it’s sad to see what the Rolex market has become. Maybe one of the reasons why you don’t see any watches at the AD is because people will by whichever sports Rolex is offered whether they like it or not.

The 126600 Sea Dweller #1 then the dual time Cellini (50529-0007).

Serious question, what is the justification for using the purchase of a Rolex as a tax deduction and would it pass sniff test of an IRS audit? I take it you've never been audited.
