Is this Patek Phillippe Calatrava a good deal?
I found this Patek on Portero.com and am considering making the plunge. However, that being said, I am not sure how good of a deal this is. That's where I seek the help of this forum :)
http://portero.com/brands/patek-phil...802-watch.html Also, how can I date this watch? The description doesn't say when this watch was made. Thanks in advance! |

I think the price is a bit high. Probably shoud be somewhere between $8800-9800, depending on condition and if it has the original Patek box and paperwork.
I recently sold my Patek Travel-Time #5034 to a dealer. It is the same as a Calatrava with the additional hand and pushers for a second time zone. My watch was LNIB as I had only worn it 4 or 5 times. It came with the original box with all papers and packing. Before I sold it, I was looking at asking prices of my watch model offered for sale and the prices ranged from the low $11,xxx to the high 12,xxx. I suggest you check around before you commit to buy this one.
