New Member, a few from my collection
Evening all!
Long time reader, new member. Just thought I'd post a few pics of (potential) interest to the group. One isn't a Rolex, but it's a fantastic piece in it's own right, and photographs incredibly well(in my opinion:) ). And the most recent addition, which I'm becoming more and more enamored with: Regards Brian |

Actually, that's not the "Steve McQueen" Monaco. It is the "Gulf" Monaco, which they made 4000 pieces of. This is a tribute to the Porsche 917 race cars(sponsored by Gulf Oil Company) that dominated the 24hrs of LeMans with overall victories in 1970 and '71. I guess it's loosely related to McQueen as the 917 was what he drove in the movie "LeMans." They are still considered one of the fastest race cars ever built (254mph top speed on the Mulsanne straight).
