Please show us your well used Rollies
I just wanted to ask if anyone would mind sharing some pics and or stories of watches that have been in use for years or maybe even decades. Of interest might be those that served their intended purpose such as Subs or SD's belonging to recreational or commercial divers, but I would be equally interested to see those that might be long time favorite daily wearers. I truly enjoy seeing all the shiny new ones, but thought this might be really fun not to mention interesting.
If you have the time or inclination I would be most appreciative. Thanks in advance, Patrick

40 and still ticking
This AK has been a daily wearer for 40 years. Grandfather, father, and now me.
It loses about 1 1/2 to 2 min. a week, but so does anyone who survived the 1960's. Cheers! Rod |

Hey guys, thanks for sharing, both look pretty darn good from what I can see, especially the 40YO AK. Has that one been sent in for service and polish recently? Either that or you guys arent near as hard on watches as me.
Love 40cal BTW... nearly perfect in evey way.

These Rolexes had gotten quite a beating! They deseve to be beaten and worn everyday to makeit it worth the high price paid.

Our boy StanGMT has not been on in a while, so I'm taking the liberty of showing off his 1675 from '67 that I love seeing - he's worn it every day for 40+ years:

You've never owned a "well used Rollie" JJ! How many have you had long enough to get serviced?

JJ, I have seen many of your many posts and all your Rollies ALWAYS look NIB!! How DO you do it? The one thing I dread is knowing how scratched up mine will get, because I won't be able to take it off once I get it! And............it will be a long time before another is a reality. Thanks again for the other additions to the post guys.........this is what I was looking for. Just love seeing the well LOVED ones. Especially ones like the 67 GMT. Every day for 40 years......AWSOME! Patrick

How about these? When I bought the '65 and '66 a few years ago, some complained that they were too beat up. It's amazing what they go for on eBay today.
