Incoming Chopard L.U.C XPS!

As soon as I saw the news about this new product from Chopard, I wanted it. Ordered for spring, received today. The Chopard L.U.C XPS Forest Green in all its glory.

Congrats! I saw and tried it on in Bal Harbor a few weeks ago and pics just don't do it justice - a beautiful piece from a great brand.

Cheers!

Thank you all for your kind words! Sometimes it happens that I really like a watch I see in a catalog or on a video, and when I finally get to pick it up, I'm disappointed because I had it all planned out differently in my head, getting emotionally worked up since the day I placed the order. This Chopard exceeded my expectations in every respect. It's comfortable, understated and elegant at the same time, the case has a lot of niceties - lugs, vertical side brushing, beautifully made buckle, dial and its color, not to mention the above-average decoration of the mechanism. I also found the first disadvantages - a loud rotor or an average quality strap. However, Chopard deserves a big plus for the whole project, which I hereby do now.

Many thanks for your initial mini review. I am always impressed by your photos and like your watches, so your high praise for this one means a lot, IMHO.

As you are not loving the strap, I’ll be looking forward to seeing what combos you come up with.

I am uploading two additional photos showing the thickness of the case, which is 7.2mm.

What great photos! The side profile is very appealing (along with the rest of the watch). I love it.
