ToG a Pictures
Rarely see any ToG on the site so I thought I would post a few. I know they aren't very popular, but I'm enjoying mine. I'd like to see a few vintage Thunderbirds if there are any out there.
I know. The pictures are horrible. I'm trying to learn from some of the masters on this site. |

Very nice
I'm thinking about getting the black dial SS with Oyster bracelet, and about the only thing holding me back is the 36mm size. Seems like the price of the 36mm Explorer had dropped quite a lot at least on the s/hand market. I hope this is not indicative of all 36mm Rolex watches. I really like the red hand and date. Also the black dial is matt and the rotating fluted bezel is unique to the TOG. It is a difficult decision, but I can't seem to stop looking at the photos of the darn thing, I've been looking at this model for years now. The price is about US$3,750 for a "D" serial, I don't think I can do better than that for that kind of money. It is a hell of a cool watch. |

Great looking variety.
I like the red dates and second hands....give it a great look.. I also think the ToG bezel gives it more presence than the standard DJ. |

I think you have a nice collection but I disagree on the bezel.I like the Vintage Thuderbird better and I have no idea why Rolex chose to conert a fluted bezel into a elasped time bezel for diving. It doesn't seem like a practical upgrade IMHO. Your pics are nice though.
