126710BLRO Mark 1, Mark 2, Mark 3 Time Periods?

I’m interested in purchasing a 2018 126710BLRO GMT Master 2 with a pastel Mark 1 bezel. Does anyone know what are the exact time periods for the Mark 1, Mark 2 and Mark 3 bezels and how to tell the differences between each?

Mark I is produced until the first months of 2019, when the dull and much darker bezel started production witch lasted until the beginning of 2020.

I am not sure about the Mark III and IV, but I have seen the BLRO bezels from 2023 that look exactly like those from 2018. Rolex is having a hard time keeping up with consistency.

As you say ‘pastel’ , I think it’s the best colouration of the bezel, I’ve seen plenty and certainly 2018 carries pastel tones, but I’m sure those with only negative view points will refute it, but easily googled and checked .. good luck on your hunt ..

Mine is from 2022. Not sure which MK it is. Either 2 or 3 I assume.
I rather like the desaturated colorings of the MK1. Good luck finding one. I see them for sale occasionally.

Also, it’s really hard to compare these unless the lighting is the same for each picture. To me, the most recent 2023 version does look to have a more burgundy darker Red. The original Bakelite version was also much darker than the Aluminum soda can versions. Each has its charm. Maybe someday Rolex will do a reissue of the Pink Panther or perhaps the Blue Berry.

I wished I save the post I saw on IG. Someone did a side by side comparison between a MK1 - MK3. Aside the from the color the bezel numerals on the MK3 were bolder/thicker compared to the previous two especially on the number 6.

I got my BLRO in December of 2018, it was the 12th one my Boutique received. I would call it MKII as it’s definitely darker than the pastel looking ones I saw at the introduction. My SA has been in the business a long time and he definitely believes the insert color has evolved since introduction but how many distinct versions is debatable.
To the OP, in short if I was looking for a particular version I would not buy it without seeing it in person and preferably in different lighting.

I've been told that my late 2021 model is pink and purple, so I guess it depends on the lighting, the visual cortex, and the belief of the observer.

The blue layer sits on a red base. The red can visually bleed through the blue under certain lighting conditions. My CHNR, when lit from certain angles shows the brown bleeding through the black.

Mine is July 2020 and probably end of Mk2 and start of Mk3.
The blue is more purpulish hue.

Anyways Mk1/2/3 is all on forums and in our heads
