New to the forums
Hello, I am new to the forums, and wanted to give a little bio/story of myself. My name is Sal. I am 28 years old and fascinated by watches and the history that comes with it. I always had a watch when I was kid but never anything serious. I remember I bought my 1st watch from Kmart for $20 when I was maybe 10 years old. It was an armitron. I loved that watch. I bought a few others like fossil, citizen, and even guess through out junior high school then I lost interest when I got to high school. My 1st entry level watch that’s I fell in love with and started up my hobby of watches again was my Tag Heuer formula 1 as a wedding gift from my brothers about 5 years ago. I never took that off. My wife even bought me an Apple Watch a couple of years later, and I was never able to take my tag off my wrist. My last watch I bought was from the forums. I was very fortunate to meet Vitaliy user name V.lats97nsx where I bought my blue 1974 Tudor submariner 9411 from. He made my first purchase on forums easy and satisfying as it gets. I posted a pic of my collection and a pic of my last purchase. Can’t wait to be part of the community. Thank you!
