Which Submariner

I am currently considering buying either a 50th Anniverary Green bezel or TT Blue Sub. Which one would you buy?

Green all the way, for myself I don't like the TT Sub. It's not my bag.

I like the TT alot. LV is beautiful but personal taste makes me lean toward the TT.

Green does not appeal to me.

Blue/gold is a little flash.

Can I take the cash instead?

Now that TT Sub has a gold crown, unline the yachtmaster! My AD is going to ask about that.

Well, I just bought a LV. Do not like the TT models, personnally, too dressy.

Though the Black and Gold TT Sub looks nice and is the color of two of my alma maters.

You guys would probably expect me jump ONLY on the TT Blue Sub as the option (which in fact I did vote for!!)

But in all fairness to the LV, if it's available at absolute list price, then it's a good buy....and, of course, you have to really love GREEN and the MAXI dial!!

I wanted the TT Blue Sub for many, many years. Then I got one, wore it for a while and I felt........ underwhelmed. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I don't. But the Kermit Sub never did anything for me. If I were buying a new Sub, I might pay an extra $100 for it, but I would not pay a huge premium.

I would go for TT but black over blue any day of the week... though the Green sub I would get over the Blue TT as well.

The LV looks great, but it can't compare to the TT Sub

If one is a SUB nut, then an LV would make a very fine addition to the family!!

You're absolutely right JJ. It's next on my list to buy after the TT blue Sub that you keep pushing me to buy.

Don't worry JJ, it'll be on my wrist before long. By the way, I haven't spoken to you in a few days. How have you been?

Sometimes I wonder if I should have gotten the TT Blue first, but the LV has really grown on me. The black and green combo is nice and the SS is more subtle. I tried a TT blue today and I didn't feel it calling as loudly as it has before.

JJ,

Speaking of the TT Blue Sub, my wife caught me staring at the new pictures of it on the Rolex website last night and she asked if I was going to go get one this weekend But I told her that I need to save up a little more cash before I can add that beauty to my "collection". It's almost like she wants me to get it as bad as I want to get it
